Arsenal are closing in on a £52 million move for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, but over 4,000 supporters have signed a #NOTOMADUEKE petition on Change.org arguing the club should target higher-profile players after recent near-misses.

Petition creator Blaze Fifty insisted:

“Arsenal fans deserve better. We’re so close to success, yet we risk taking two steps back just like in the last three windows.”
Rival supporters dismissed the backlash as overblown.
“Any genuine fan would back the club’s choices,” – one tweeted.
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Madueke and consulted his inner circle to assess his fit at the Emirates.
On transfer speculation, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca said:
“If we need Noni, he will help us. Noise is part of the game.”
With talks nearing completion, Arsenal remain undeterred in their bid to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad.
