  • EeZee Conceptz MD, Coach Nancy, has retracted her earlier allegations against Mercy Chinwo, stating the move was made on legal advice and in pursuit of peace.
  • Nancy confirmed that a settlement process between Chinwo and EeZee Conceptz is underway, facilitated by respected religious leaders referred to as the “Fathers of Faith.”
  • The retraction comes after Mercy Chinwo filed a defamation suit, following accusations of financial misconduct made by Nancy amid an ongoing $345,000 royalty dispute.

Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, Nancy Nnadi, popularly known as Coach Nancy, has confirmed that peace talks are ongoing between the gospel music label and singer Mercy Chinwo over the lingering royalty dispute.

Nnadi made the disclosure while publicly withdrawing her previous allegations against Chinwo, which had sparked a defamation suit from the artist.

Mercy Chinwo took legal action in January 2025 against her former label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (popularly known as EeZee Tee), accusing him of diverting $345,000 in music royalties. This came roughly two years after her exit from EeZee Conceptz following financial disagreements.

Amid the dispute, Nancy Nnadi had accused Chinwo of financial misconduct via social media — claims that led the gospel singer to file a defamation suit, demanding a public apology and the deletion of all defamatory content.

Over the weekend, Nnadi addressed the situation in a statement posted on her Instagram page, officially retracting the claims and expressing hope for a peaceful resolution.

“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo,” she wrote.

“As well pray that Almighty God perfects ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.”

She emphasized that the reconciliation efforts are being coordinated by respected religious leaders, described as “Fathers of Faith,” who are working to mediate the ongoing issues.

Mercy Chinwo has yet to issue a formal response following Nnadi’s retraction.
