Since the former Barcelona’s star stopped playing football in 2019, he has been progressively adding to his coaching résumé.

He then joined the Saudi Arabian national team’s backroom staff under Herve Renard and later assisted at Standard Liège, Olimpik Donetsk, and Akhmat Grozny.

In addition, he got better at teaching young people in 2022 when he was in charge of Tottenham Hotspur’s U-16s under Antonio Conte.

Having starred at Barcelona, Monaco, and Olympiacos, Toure then made time to obtain his coaching credentials after a season with China’s Qingdao Hainiu.
