The IEDs, believed to have been planted by insurgents, were strategically hidden along farmlands and major access routes, posing serious risks to both civilians and security personnel operating in the area.

The latest operation is part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and protect local populations from terrorist threats in the North-East region.

Tension has enveloped the Okeyimi Health Centre in Ado Ekiti following the sudden disappearance of a newborn baby, less than 24 hours after birth.

The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Monday when healthcare workers attempted to attend to the infant, only to discover she had vanished without a trace.
