This development comes as President Tinubu has issued a fresh directive to security agencies to crack down on cyber criminals and other organized crime groups.

The President stressed that Nigeria is not a destination for stolen vehicles or other ill-gotten wealth, and commended the EFCC for its efforts in combating cybercrime.

With this development, the Army has put to rest speculation about Lagbaja’s resignation, and the focus now shifts to the President’s directive on combating organized crime.
