
Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has made history by becoming the African artist with the most appearances on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His latest collaboration with American rapper Gunna, WGFT from the album The Last Wun, entered the chart at number 96, bringing Burna Boy’s total Billboard entries to seven.

Burna Boy is also the first African artist to debut a song on the Hot 100 for five consecutive years, from 2021 through 2025.
The singer first landed on the chart in 2021 with Loved By You, a duet with Canadian pop icon Justin Bieber, and achieved his first solo success in 2022 with Last Last, which peaked at number 44.
Beyond the US, Burna Boy holds the record for the most entries by an African artist on both the UK Singles Chart, with 26 tracks, and the Canadian Hot 100, with 11 songs.
