The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released a reviewed version of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results, following an earlier technical error in the marking process.
The Head of Nigeria’s Office (HNO) of WAEC, Mr Amos Josiah Dangut, announced in Lagos that the revision was necessary after identifying mistakes in the marking of the Objective section of the English Language examination.
The issue, traced to WAEC’s service providers, initially left only 754,545 candidates representing 38.32 per cent with credits in a minimum of five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
