Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has remained tight-lipped about his future at the club, fueling speculation that he may not extend his current contract, which is set to expire in June 2025.
When asked about the rumors ahead of the weekend’s Premier League match against Fulham, Guardiola chose not to provide any clarity, stating, “I’m not going to talk about this subject. What will happen, will happen.”
In addition, Guardiola addressed reports about Kevin De Bruyne’s international career.

After the midfielder was excluded from Belgium’s latest squad, some speculated that he might have retired from international football.
Pep Guardiola denied these claims, explaining that De Bruyne is simply not fit for selection due to injury.
“He’s not ready for tomorrow. How can he go to the national team when he hasn’t played one game? I’ve never understood that. He didn’t tell me he’s going to retire from the national team, I don’t know his mind. But for that game, he is injured,” Guardiola clarified.
